I remember the feeling of being so terrified to be alone with myself. I was filled with fear, pain, and unresolved childhood issues.

I went looking for love in all the wrong places. Eventually it became too much - even for me. I slowly began realizing that if I wanted the life I dreamt of, I would have to change. Nothing changes if changes, as they say. And so I got changing.

I went on a journey inward to navigate my inner emotional terrains

I got therapy, I sought spiritual support, I did my masters in Mental Health Counseling, and graduated. You see, I knew I was meant to help other women, particularly women of color, to heal from their traumas and reclaim their worth- but I had to simultaneously do the work myself so that I can teach from an embodied place.

I continued on my journey- was initiated into the Priestess path, learned Tantra and shamanic practices and healing work. I began to see changes. It wasn’t a linear journey. There were many bumps along the way, there still are. Nature is simply that way. However, I couldn’t deny that the more I kept healing the better my life got. And the more I healed internally- the more I was able to help others to heal as well.

This powerful diosa community and the deep transformational work that exists today- came from the soul call to heal….to come back home to soul, and to live a life that made me feel good. Self-love is always a win-win. It is seldom easy, but always worth it. Together let us continue to gather hand in hand and heart in heart- to do this sacred soul work. To release. To rise. To lead.
